Digital Marketing & Media Advisor 2021 - 2021 (Contract)

Project Involvement

During my time at RMIT University’s STEM College, I collaborated with a range of disciplines, including the WIL team and the Bundoora Health Clinic, to design and produce engaging marketing, print, and digital collateral.

Projects included brochures, digital and print handbooks, A1 posters, eDM banners, digital flyers, and tear drop banners created for STEM Open Day and other promotional events.

Working closely with RMIT’s Brand Team, I ensured every piece aligned with the university’s visual identity while bringing fresh, creative solutions to each brief. Strong stakeholder collaboration and a flexible design approach helped me deliver cohesive, high-quality outcomes across multiple formats and channels.

Apps and Skills:

Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop), Microsoft Office Suite, and RMIT’s digital asset management systems, Microsoft Teams, Graphic Design, Layout Design, Image Editing, Image setup for Print and Digital, adhering company’s Brand and Style Guidelines, Stakeholder Engagement.

Home PC used.

Health Clinic OOH Posters

The RMIT Health Clinic invested in a paid marketing campaign that included Out of Home advertising. OOH A1 posters were required to be printed to attract new patient audiences to the Health Clinic.

The creative process for this brief involved:

Stakeholder engagement through liaising with the Health Clinic manager to obtain content, direction and feedback whilst adhering to the RMIT University brand kit.

All creation and redesign of templates for the layout was completed in InDesign. RMIT SharePoint provided access to current and engaging images that were edited with Photoshop, while in constant communications with the RMIT brand team for approvals of designs and feedback adjustments from the different academics and professional staff.

Brochures

The RMIT STEM College required various brochures for print. These brochures were used to attract and engage new prospective students and potential industry partners outlining program, placement and partnership opportunities within different disciplines across STEM.

The creative process for this brief involved:

Stakeholder engagement through liaising with Academics, professional staff also the brand check team whilst adhering to the RMIT University brand kit.

All images used needed to be engaging and captivate their intended audience. Numerous brochures were created not only for the STEM college but also for the RMIT Health Clinic at Uni Hill. Many of these brochures and their templates can probably still be found through SharePoint. All image assets were edited in Photoshop and laid out in InDesign and packaged as print ready files.

Handbooks

Within RMIT STEM College, School of Health and Biomedical Sciences required various student handbooks for print. These student handbooks were used to inform current students on their placement requirements, rules and procedures. The disciplines included Nursing, Medical Radiations and Laboratory Medicine.

The creative process for this brief involved:

Stakeholder engagement through liaising with Academics, professional staff also the brand check team whilst adhering to the RMIT University brand kit.

With the student handbooks, images used needed to be engaging and captivate their intended audience. Laying out the handbooks in InDesign was made easy using the application paragraph and character styles.

Digital Assets

Various Digital assets were required by STEM College for use across different platforms such as eDMs, webpages, internal SharePoint portals and student facing systems such as Canvas. Assets included various eDM banners, digital flyers and brochures.

Tear Drop Banners

One of my tasks during my employment with RMIT STEM college, was creating four Tear Drop Banners for the respective disciplines Medical Imaging, Radiation Therapy, Nuclear Medicine, and Pharmacy.

These banners were used as marketing collateral for the universities Open Day event adhering to the RMIT brand guidelines, created with Adobe Illustrator.
